For this shoot I knew the exact photography style that I was going to pursue. I intended to shoot in the  style of Steve Pyke, which my previous shoot was influenced by. This shoot was enhancing on my previous shoot by slightly changing and incorporating other aspects in the images. The development for this idea was inspired by the feedback session for my previous portrait shoot. I shot all portraits using the same backdrop as my previous shoot, this time I shot using natural light from the window on the right hand side of the subject and I edited the portraits afterwards using the methods that were proposed to me during my last feedback session.

I believe that this shoot was the best shoot so far. By implementing the use of natural light, it added depth to the image and enhances the details on the subjects face. With this alongside the close up style, has made this work develop in the right way.

Above is the comparrisoson of the original and edited final images. The images have slightly been edited by increasing/decreasing the curves and levels on photoshop. This brings out the finer details of the persons face. This shows a raw view into the person.

Below is the few landscape and still life images that I shot to go with the portraits.

The image below is one that I took that shows a sense of loneliness within the group. The disconnect between tables, between groups. I believe that the black and white while in square format adds to this image. It removes any distractions and the focus becomes about the people within the frame.
