When considering my future within education. I will not be doing a further photography education straight after the degree. I spoke to multiple tutors about the possibility doing a MA, I was recommended that if I decide to do it then wait a few years before. This is so I can build up my portfolio, clients and photography skills within my professional practice. I can develop my portfolio and skills for example, by the fact that I have two video commissions for the Stockport veterans.
When researching MA courses, I feel that there are various options for me to complete the course. I looked into Manchester Metropolitan as an option as it is in an area that is accessible for me as well as having the facilities and requirements I need.
Manchester Metropolitan has a full time course of 1 year and a part time course of 2 years. If I chose to do a part time course, this would give me the opportunity to seek out clients and further develop my professional and personal portfolio.

Another place that is an option for me is Falmouth.
Falmouth only has a full time (1 year duration), this means that I would have less time to build my practice alongside studying further.
PGSE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) is an academic qualification that is required to move forward into a teaching position. This would consist of training classes, school placements and collaborative experiences to guide you in the right direction. If I was to pursue this option, I would greatly consider attending the course at MMU (Manchester Metropolitan University).
Despite this being a great opportunity for my future as it would open various doors for my photography development. I have many transferable skills that would help ease this transition, if I decide to pursue this option at a later date.
