I entered the 35AWARDS 2023 competition which I discovered online while looking for competitions. I submitted an image of mine that I took for my self directed module as I believed it was a good image to showcase my photography style. This image was suggested by multiple tutors to be submitted. The submission application needed an image in jpeg along with a short caption summarising my project.

The 35AWARDS 2024 competition has various different categories for various different styles of photography that include;

The competition has multiple stages of the voting process. Anyone photographer who has submitted an image can go to a voting area, where the viewer is presented with 2 photos to decide their favourite image.

The above image shows the image that I submitted along with the stats for the image views and tracking for your progress. This is so each photographer can keep track of their progress throughout the competition stages.

Above is the brief caption that I uploaded to summarise the meaning behind my body of work entitled 'People In Colour'.

This is the email confirmation I received stating that I have successfully entered the competition.

Towards the end of the competition I received an email stating the close of the competition. Within the email it explains that the competition is continually growing each year with the ever-changing number of photographers entering. It states that photographers from 173 countries have entered this specific competition.

When the first stage cam to a close, I received an email stating that my photograph did not reach the second stage as it did not receive high enough votes.
