I will be presenting my final images in book form. I have created my book on InDesign through the Blurb plug in. I will then export the completed template to Blurb to order a copy/copies of the book. I have used Blurb multiple times over the past 3 academic years to create a book before and had positive results. The first design I made through the blurb plug in was a magazine for manipulated photography in Level 4. The previous book I made about the veteran community was an example of this.
The second book that I have created through Blurb was the first project that I shot with the Stockport veterans. The aspect of the book that I wanted to put in but was unable due to the timing between the availability of the veterans and the deadline was, to include the names, ranks and information about each veteran.
Due to this, I will be making sure that all relevant information is included within my book for the professional identity module. I will also be including an artist statement.

Example Of Pages From Book:
I structured the book to have a 5 images presented across 2 pages. The reasoning behind this was as I had 25 final images in total, I made a layout of a line of 5 images so the book had a consistent theme. Each set of 5 images alternates between starting from the left and right side of the page.
The above image is an example of the final few pages, this was the section that included photographs that the veterans brought it to show when talking about their history that lead to where they are now.
Below is the information regarding the book options I chose to create my book.
For my book for my final professional identity module, I created a book with the same size and type format. This will be 7x7 in, 18x18cm, and consist of 40 pages. This book will be double the size of my previous book. This is due to having two portraits with different perspectives for each veteran, as well as having information containing a artist statement, names and ranks, information about each veteran's history and a thank you page acknowledging everyone within the book. The thank you page will also thank Julie, who is the events manager for the group and has been my main point of contact throughout both collaborations.

Below is the information of the book creation options chosen.
When comparing both veteran books, it can clearly be seen of the development of book design. All aspects that I wished to have in my previous veteran book, has been taken into account this time.
I will be meeting with the Stockport veterans to show them the book and I have set up an option on Blurb so each member and their families can buy the book if they wish. There has been an interest in them wanting to purchase the book.
I have created the purchase link which I have listed as invite only. This is so I can forward the link to the Stockport veterans and they will be directed to the purchase page. The reason why I did not set up the book to be publicly available, as of yet, is as if I decide to sell my book in the public domain, I will first speak to the group and get their permission. This is because I will ask for permission to sell their image of mine and the sensitive information about their history and families.
Book Description & Category On Blurb:
I listed the book under Arts & Photography Books and Biographies & Memoirs. The description also includes a link to my professional photography website, under Author website.
Profit Margin For My Book:
I arranged for the book to be sold at £38, this is the default price of £33.20 and a profit of £4.80. As the standard price for the book is fairly expensive, I wanted to sell my book at a reasonable price for a photography book. When being dire ted the invite link, there is also an option to download the PDF for £7.99. This is the standard price of £2.99 plus a £5.00 profit. I decided to not allow a preview option as the minimum preview was 15 pages or a preview of the entire book. I will work around this by showing the veterans the PDF before purchasing if they wish to.
